The Strangeness are a six-piece rock 'n' roll band from Manila. Their current lineup consists of Francis Cabal (guitar/vocals), Ivan Brosas (guitars) Jayme Ancla (guitars), Bijan Gorospe (bass), Paolo Arciga (piano), and Erwin Hilao (drums). They got their start as a 5-piece garage rock band and played shows around small clubs in the metro. They eventually caught the attention of Ang Bandang Shirley's Kathy Gener, who signed them to her new record label Wide Eyed Records Manila.
In 2011, they released their EP called "Jesus Camp", which was produced by Wide Eyed Records co-founder and Halik ni Gringo frontman Joey Santos. The EP proved to be a critical success, and they became one of the more active young bands in the local independent circuit.
